Planning a team outing, birthday, or corporate event? We host private tasting sessions for groups of 6 to 20 guests. Each session is tailored to your preferences — from single-origin flights to espresso deep-dives — led by our head roaster in the BeansParade lab.

From $45 per person — includes cupping set and 100g take-home bag

WHAT TO EXPECT


01 — Arrival

Guests gather at the roastery tasting room. A welcome pour of our current house espresso and a brief introduction to the evening’s origins.

02 — Cupping Flight

Three to four single-origin coffees served side by side using SCA cupping protocol. We walk through aroma, acidity, body, and finish together.

03 — Roast Demo

A live roasting demonstration on our Probat sample roaster. See the Maillard reaction in real time, from green seed to first crack.

FREQUENTLY ASKED


Do I need prior coffee knowledge to attend?

Not at all. Our sessions are designed for everyone from casual drinkers to seasoned cuppers. We adapt the depth of each tasting to the group in the room.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event. Within 48 hours we offer a credit toward a future session. No-shows forfeit their reservation.

Is food included?

We provide light accompaniments — dark chocolate, dried fruit, and fresh bread — chosen to complement the tasting notes of each origin. For private events we can arrange a full catering partnership.

Where is the tasting room located?

127 Roastery Lane, Portland, OR 97209. Street parking is available on Roastery Lane and NW 14th Avenue. The venue is a five-minute walk from the Portland Streetcar NW 14th & Northrup stop.

Can I buy beans at the event?

Yes. Every bean featured in the tasting is available for purchase at the event at a 10% attendee discount. We also ship — if you prefer to taste first and order later, we will email you direct links after the session.
